It’s true, there are serious dangers associated with muscle strength. They can harm or help. Like all things related to power, injury is too often a common side effect when said power is in motion. A car for instance can get a person to the hospital while the same car can send them there. One significant item muscles and vehicles share in common is the ability to create large amounts of momentum.

When a load is accelerated and set in motion it can generate serious impact forces. A baseball dropped on the foot may be mildly injurious creating a moment of pain but the same baseball thrown at a person can leave a lasting contusion….same ball. This is how people injure themselves performing strength training.
Certainly proper exercise form makes a huge difference but it isn’t the end all be all. More commonly people develop their natural abilities and over time the difference between their strong areas and weak zones grows. Then one day doing something relatively innocent with a bit of momentum they injure. These avoidable injuries grossly reduce a person’s ability to maintain strength and their overall health suffers.
With strength comes responsibility, train responsibly.
Be well, be strong,
