Perhaps the most popular form of fat loss is exercise but it bears a reminder. When you exercise and you manage to mobilize some of your fat stores for energy there is a significant “offset” reaction.

Burning body fat for fuel initiates chemicals to be released into your system to replenish the lost stores of “emergency” energy. These chemicals serve to preserve your body as it is (homeostasis).

Exercise will increase your rate of subsequent fat storing, temporarily dampen your overall metabolic rate and increase your hunger in the following days. All this is an evolutionary trait to avoid starvation.

So remember the best way to lose unhealthy body fat is always just to eat real food (unprocessed). And if/when you have processed food “ in moderation” is the golden rule.
