MENTAL HEALTH strength

People nod their heads when:

“exercise helps mental health”

is said…but not much more. This because most people exercise just to try and burn unwanted body fat. We think full body strength workouts can go far beyond this.

When you perform strength exercises like we promote at our personal training studio you do gain stamina and endurance but you also gain three very valuable things:

1. The same chemical cascade as cardio activity but one that lasts far longer. Often days after a workout not just hours.

2. Everything you do in life becomes easier when your body is strong which reduces the impact of all types of stress.

3. Finally and possibly the most important:

“The actual process of getting stronger builds confidence and reduces anxiety”
