Here is the only leg exercise in the session. Tierney has very strong legs which also have high endurance. Instead of doing a heavy set stop rest then another set and so on we did a combo exercise. The use of two machines and two ranges allowed her both a lot of fatigue to tax her stamina and also a very heavy weight in the second “strong” range.
I chose fixed safe leg press machines for both halves so she could focus totally on tapping all her endurance and strength. Not having to focus so much on maintaining form allows her to go much deeper into the set rather than stopping as form breaks.
