The Mind Diet part 1

The three biggest exaggerations in fitness nutrition are:

1. Motivation

2. Willpower

3. Control

The truth is you do want a better body, better health and a better life. You already have the motivation and willpower needed to change. The thing is they will never provide “control” of your behaviour.

Control is only the byproduct of habit, education and preparation. Motivation rises and falls, it is always there but it fluctuates…thus as a control measure it sucks, follow:

If you try to use “being motivated” to help you control your behaviour you will feel the ups and downs. This roller coaster will exaggerate feelings of being out of control rather than helping your confidence.

Please read that again and take it to heart.
