At the risk of sounding confusing or click bait cringy we’ll get right to the point. Strength is the answer NOT exercise. You see strength requires more than exercise. Strength takes consistency which requires proper sleep and reasonable nutrition. It also hinges on having relaxing “active” activity.
Lifting heavy weight each week is irreplaceable but it has to be in concert with reasonable rest and nutrition. Furthermore you need to keep moving in general and avoid sitting around. Physical activity doesn’t have to be exercise per se but it needs to be regular.

Weekly strength training of the type which will actually seriously help your health….is plain old tough. It takes high energy and high concentration. It is anything but easy and this is why it needs all the back it up support. Staying strong matters over years not months and to stay committed takes the kind of stubbornness that comes from a healthy “lifestyle”.
Be well, be strong,
