A mind game we see too often is pretending not to have hope. It shows up as supposedly “managing one’s expectations”.
When you know in your core that you want and need physical fitness it takes head games to ignore it. You tell yourself you don’t have time when that’s not true…it’s just not being prioritized.

The side-effect isn’t just a weakened body but a self-inflicted wound to your whole way of thinking and feeling. Denial of basic self-care and self-repair develops a type scar tissue you can feel if you get honest.
Keep it basic, keep it simple and just take it one workout at a time.
Trading in your self-confidence and self-worth to avoid exercise is perhaps the worst deal you could ever accept.
Be well, be strong,
