We have reached the point in human civilization where we can prolong life a fair bit but we need to ask – do we actually save it?
The question probes two things:
1. Are we focusing on preventative medicine?
2. What about the quality of the life we are prolonging?

So many emergency conditions can be dramatically helped even completely avoided through pre-habilitation. What is pre-habilitation you ask?
It is preventative medicine using exercise, healthy eating and quality sleep. If we truly wish to save lives this is where our focus needs a massive overhaul. We need to rehabilitate our weakness and fix our mentality of “bailout” healthcare.
If we actually value life it is time to stop the panic and the patchwork and get to the business of preventing disease and fortifying against it.
