A denial trick we see too often is pretending not to have hope. It manifests itself in supposed “managing one’s expectations”.

When you know in your core that you want and need physical fitness it takes mind games to ignore it. You tell yourself you don’t have time when actually you are avoiding putting it as a priority.
The side-effect isn’t just a weakened body but a self-inflicted wound to your whole way of thinking and feeling. Denial of basic self-care and self-repair develops a type scar tissue you can feel if you get honest.
Keep it basic, keep it simple and just start where you are with what you have.
Trading in your self-confidence and self-worth to avoid having to exercise is perhaps the worst deal you could ever accept.
Be well, be strong,
