Fact: You Have Time

You make time to eat do you not? You make time to rest…clearly you have time to exercise. Skip a snack a couple of times a week and fill that time with some basic strengthening. Give up a half hour here and there sitting around surfing the web and lift a bit of weight. The idea that it’s tough to find time to exercise is complete and utter nonsense.

The confusion often stems from believing that how much you exercise determines how much benefit you get. This is simply not true. It’s good to be moving a lot everyday but it doesn’t have to be exercise as in movement which is very draining. Exercise for health just requires a few short intense bouts of strengthening each week. Lots of easier regular daily movement is just natural when you are in shape.

Someone who makes sure to strengthen their selves for an hour or two each week is then built to be active. Their bodies are able to move around regularly with purpose. This maintains their body systems for basic balanced function. When you don’t take time to strengthen then your movement becomes a source of wearing down and wearing out your body.

Swapping out the odd idle hour for a purposeful workout won’t mess up your schedule. In fact it is likely to make you more productive and satisfied feeling in general.

Be well, be strong,
