People are failing by being backwards…

With the internet flooding minds everywhere the basics of health and being so called “in shape” are now common knowledge. Why then are people physically falling apart at an ever increasing rate?! The answer is because of backwards thinking.

We approach health and getting in shape by treating the symptoms. Get moving, drop the fat maybe even get better sleep. The fact is people move poorly, are overweight and their sleep quality suffers….because they are physically weak. Lack of muscle strength is the root cause.

Want proof? A strong fit individual can face serious disease or a bad physical injury and recover fully back to fit in less time than a couch potato can get in shape – and maintain it! They can be rendered unable to move around properly for months. They can see rest and sleep grossly disrupted as they work through the tough process of healing. They can even put on unwanted fat from stress and being sedentary. It is literally their physical strength which feeds their recovery. Their strength gets them moving again which improves their sleep and use of nutrients. The engine (muscle) IS the metabolic driver.

Out of shape people need to stop wasting time doing things backwards. Need to walk a lot more?! Build leg strength. Build muscle that actually needs fuel/nutrients. Have strength and use it and you will be properly tired and achieve better sleep. Build back in the right order!
