We continually remind the public that beyond the looks and athletics part of fitness are the big benefits. Strengthening your body is pre-habilitation and it comes from just plugging in and keeping the lights on. That is to say:
“You use your strength to maintain your strength”
Most start exercise programs with big short term hopes but it is the long term consistency which actually changes your quality of life and health. By having strength you not only protect against stress but have a reserve to draw from to keep moving forward. This stored supply of power is there in good times and bad.
The old saying “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure” is hugely applicable to your health. Life isn’t always easy and it makes basic good sense to keep home base…your body, solid and safe.
