The research paper linked below is excellent, it is thorough, interesting and accessible. No one needs strength training exercise more than woman over 30. If you understand this…this is a great piece of research to promote to your female friends and loved ones.

Generally speaking females are significantly weaker than men as they are born with less overall muscle. Weak out of shape people, be they men or woman, have great difficulty starting and sustaining a muscle health program. When you’re out of shape you have less energy to blow motivational wind into your own sails. Thus it’s extra difficult for females and they suffer the most.
