Our WTF replaces the “What” with “Why” and adding “aren’t we doing this!?” What we are referring to is the medical prescription of staying in shape. Why isn’t it regular practice for the medical community to prescribe a strong body backed up by the proper exercise, nutrition and rest?
It is a perfectly well established fact that most illness is caused by or grossly exacerbated by a lack of physical fitness. If a patient’s ailments were caused or made worse by previous years of being out of shape why didn’t doctors intervene? We’re not talking about gentle reminders about lifestyle choices we’re talking about taking full responsibility for your physical fitness.

There are a small handful of medical professionals who espouse the virtues of fitness but how is it not on par with drugs, surgery and advanced diagnostic procedures.? By example we give people bone density scans and then bone density drugs as well as orthopaedic surgeries. Where is prescription for weightlifting which 100% creates bone density in a manner that drugs and surgery do not?! It’s a better solution for the problem as well as having hundreds of other health benefits.
This world of 99% post problem attention isn’t working, the average persons overall health is quickly diminishing generation to generation. Something is wrong with medicine as a science.
Be well, be strong,
Andrew and Tierney
