Small muscles…small metabolism

Your muscles are your motors, everything you do requires those muscles for action. Your muscles are the main driver of your metabolism because they require lots of fuel to run. Then the action of your muscles stimulate the rest of your organs and physiological functions.

Muscle strength just like size and shape is relative to the individual of course. The fact remains that more muscle means more output, more capacity and capability. Building and maintaining your muscle and strength is the single largest determinant of your metabolic health.

If you let your muscles shrink and weaken over time you are shrinking and weakening your metabolism. Your metabolic health is directly linked to how you feel and function each and everyday. Building muscle through weekly strength training builds a healthy metabolism….thus making you feel and function better.
