At regular intervals we warn of the limits and constraints of the healthcare system. That is especially in regard to the void of preventative healthcare promotion by our government officials.

A ominous trend has arisen post pandemic we are moving from providing compassion based access to medically assisted suicide (legalized June 2016) to financial constraint pressure and promotion of such. This is a clear indication of several things not the least of which is the severe lack of capacity let alone empathy.

Moving towards a society which rather than promoting prevention is defaulting into affordable elimination is horrific. It runs eerily parallel with our cheap throw away societal trends like fast food and cheaply made short living personal items. It is the inevitable result of massive over reliance on reactive medicine rather than pro-active healthcare.

We need the medical world to step up.
