Strength….so what!?

People think that dieting and making themselves sweat and get out of breath is the way to get in shape. The reality is dieting can and usually does cause weakening while sweating and getting out of breath because you are weak will not make you healthy.

The reason there are so many people trying and failing to get healthy is simple:

“A weak body can’t get fit”

Your bones and of course your muscles need to be strong to make your movement meaningful enough to generate fitness. A weak motor gets you nowhere fast. Your power comes from your muscles, your heart and lungs are the fuel. Just using up tons of fuel because your motor is weak will not bring you to health.

Working hard is great but working strong is smart.
